Terms & conditions

These terms govern your use of the YouTube to NotebookLM browser extension (the “extension”) and the youtube-to-notebooklm.com website (the “site”). By installing the extension or using the site, you agree to them.

Who we are

YouTube to NotebookLM is an independent browser extension operated by the developer reachable at tarasov.slavas2002@gmail.com. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google, YouTube, or NotebookLM.

What the extension does

The extension adds an import button to YouTube playlist, channel, and video pages. When you use it, it reads the page you are viewing and adds each item as a labeled source in your own Google NotebookLM notebook, inside your browser. It runs locally in your browser and does not send your notebook or video data to us.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the extension and site only for lawful purposes and in line with the terms of the third-party services it works with. In particular, you agree not to:

• use the extension in a way that breaches YouTube's or Google NotebookLM's own terms of service;
• use it to infringe copyright or other intellectual-property rights, or to redistribute content you are not permitted to use;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or circumvent access controls or usage limits of the extension or any connected service;
• resell, sublicense, or present the extension as your own product.

Plans and billing

The extension offers a free tier with a limited number of monthly imports, and paid Pro plans (monthly, yearly, and a one-time lifetime plan) that remove that limit. Current prices are listed on the pricing page and are in US dollars.

• Monthly and yearly plans are subscriptions that renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled.
• You can cancel a subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• The lifetime plan is a single one-time payment with no recurring charges.
• We may change prices or plan features going forward; changes do not affect the price of a subscription period you have already paid for.

Refunds are handled under our refund policy.

Third-party services

The extension works alongside YouTube and Google NotebookLM, which are operated by Google and governed by their own terms and policies. We do not control those services and are not responsible for changes they make that affect how the extension works.

Availability and changes

We provide the extension and site on a best-effort basis and may update, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Because the extension depends on YouTube's and NotebookLM's pages, changes on their side may temporarily or permanently affect functionality.

Disclaimer & liability

The extension and site are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the extension or site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always posted here with the date above. Continuing to use the extension or site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
